This Privacy Policy describes how Blendy: Paint & Seek ("Blendy", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile app and website at playblendy.com.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect a display name (username) and may collect your email address when you sign up with email and password, sign in with Google, or sign in with Apple (Apple may share your name and email only if you choose to share them). You may also use the app with an anonymous guest account before registering.
• User content. When you create hides, we collect the images, drawings, scene selections, and related gameplay data needed to show your submissions to other players.
• Gameplay and social activity. We collect information about your hunts, scores, leaderboard standing, friend requests and friendships, likes, messages, and similar in-app activity needed to operate and improve the game.
• Device and app data. We collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and similar data needed to keep the service working. We also collect usage analytics (for example, session events and in-app actions) to understand how the app is used and improve the experience. If you enable notifications, we store a push device token and notification preferences so we can deliver them to your device.
• Advertising data. We use Google AdMob to show ads in the feed and for optional rewarded hints. AdMob may collect or receive information from your device to provide and measure advertising, consistent with your device privacy settings and Google's policies.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve Blendy
• Show user-generated hides in the feed, leaderboard, and shared links
• Authenticate users and save progress across sessions
• Provide profiles, username search, friends, messages, and push notifications
• Enforce our Terms of Service, including moderation and abuse prevention
• Display advertising and measure ad performance when ads are enabled in the app
• Respond to support requests and legal obligations

How we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us run the app, including Supabase (hosting, authentication, and storage) and Google (sign-in and, when enabled, advertising).
• Other users when you post hides, appear on leaderboards, or share links to submissions.
• Authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect users, our rights, and the integrity of the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Registered users can delete their account in the app (Profile → My Account → Delete Account). You may also contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.

Advertising

Blendy shows third-party ads through Google AdMob, including native ads in the feed and optional rewarded ads when you request a hunt hint. AdMob may use device and usage data to serve and measure ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device privacy settings (for example, App Tracking Transparency on iOS).

Your choices

• You can use many features without creating a permanent account.
• When ads are enabled, you can limit ad tracking in your device privacy settings.
• You can delete submissions you created, subject to app functionality and moderation needs.
• You can contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information where applicable.

Children

Blendy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. By using Blendy, you consent to this processing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
